Age Limit for DRDO-RCI Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of DRDO-RCI recruitment 2023, the upper age limit is given below-

For Junior Research Fellow- 28 years.

For Research Associate- 35 years.

Relaxation is given for SC/ST by 5 years and for OBC candidates by 3 years as per Govt. rules.

Remuneration for DRDO-RCI Recruitment 2023:

As given in the notification of DRDO-RCI Recruitment 2023, the monthly salary will be as given below-

For Junior Research Fellow- Candidates will be given Rs. 31000 pm.

For Research Associate- Candidates will be given Rs. 54000 pm.

Additional Residential Accommodation will be provided. In case of non-availability of accommodation, HRA will be paid as per admissible rules.

Qualification for DRDO-RCI Recruitment 2023:

For Junior Research Fellow-

• First Class B.E. /B. Tech Degree or equivalent (as per AICTE) in EEE/ECE/CSE /Chemical Engineering/Material Science/Metallurgy with valid GATE Score (3 Years) (Or)
• First Class B.E./B. Tech degree or equivalent (as per AICTE) in EEE/ECE/CSE/Chemical Engineering/Material Science/Metallurgy with ME/M. Tech in the relevant field (Or)
• First Class M.Sc. Degree in Chemistry with Valid NET/GATE (3 Years)/SLET.

For Research Associate-

Research Associate- Cold Atom Generation, Cold Atom Manipulation (Theoretical /Experimental):

• Ph. D in cold atom-based applications and related areas or
• First Class M. Sc in Physics/Laser Physics/Atomic Physics with at least four years of research experience in the relevant field or
• First Class M. Sc/M. Tech in Physics/Laser Physics/Atomic Physics with at least three years of research experience in the relevant field.

Research Associate- Laser Physics: 

• Ph. D in Physics/Laser Physics with M. Sc in Physics/Laser Physics/Applied Physics or
• First Class M. Sc in Physics/Laser Physics/Applied Physics with at least four years of research experience in the relevant field or
• First Class M. Tech in Applied Optics/Electronics/Applied Physics/Laser Physics with at least three years of research experience in the relevant field.
