Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of composite material-based structural design and analysis, optimization of airframe design by using new simulation techniques, and automation in the structural design process.

Research Associate (RA) in Electronics and Communication Engineering:

Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Electronics/Microwaves with expertise related to design and testing of AESA antennas/low observable technologies OR M.E/M.Tech in the first division in any discipline related to Electronics, Communication, Microwaves, and RF with three years of research, teaching, or design and development experience after M.E/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed Journal.
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge in EM Design, Simulation, and modeling of FSS, Radar Absorbers, Radomes, and AESA Antennas.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Electronics and Communication Engineering:

Essential Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in First Division with qualified and valid GATE score OR M.E/M.Tech, with First Division both at Graduate and Post Graduate levels.

Age LImit for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

As per the DRDO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the maximum age limit for Research Associate (RA) is 35 years and for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) is 28 years.

Salary for DRDO Rercruitment 2023:

As per DRDO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the fellowship emoluments for Research Associate (RA) is Rs.54,000/- per month, while for Junior Research Fellow (JRF), it is Rs.31,000/- per month.

The tenure for JRF is initially for a period of two years, which can be extended as per the rules. On the other hand, the tenure for the RA fellowship is for two years only.

How to Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

As per DRDO Recruitment 2023 official notification, to apply for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) or Research Associate (RA) positions at Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE), DRDO, interested candidates should follow the given steps:

• Visit the official website of the Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC).
• Click on the “Career Opportunities” section and select the “ADE, DRDO” option.
• Read the eligibility criteria carefully before proceeding to fill out the online application form.
• Click on the “Apply Online” link and enter the required details, such as personal information, educational qualifications, work experience, etc.
• Upload the scanned copies of necessary documents, including a recent passport-sized photograph, GATE scorecard, if applicable, and a valid government-issued ID card.
• Pay the application fee (if applicable) through the available payment gateway.
• Submit the application form and take a printout of the same for future reference.
• The online registration will open on 29 Mar 2023 (Wednesday) and close on 18 Apr 2023 (Tuesday).
• Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for the screening test and interview at the ADE, DRDO venue, located at Raman Gate, Suranjandas Road, New Thippasandra Post, Bengaluru – 560075.
• Candidates will be permitted through Raman Gate only, and they should carry a copy of the online application form, original government-issued ID card, and all necessary original certificates/documents/testimonials along with a set of self-attested copies of the same during the interview for verification/retention.
• There may be a screening test on 09 May 2023, followed by an interview on the same day or the next day, depending on the number of candidates appearing. Candidates are advised to plan accordingly and make their own arrangements for overnight stays (if required).
• For the RA selection interview on 11 May 2023, candidates will be shortlisted based on meeting the qualifying requirements, merit, the relevance of experience, etc.
• Candidates working in Govt./Public Sector/Autonomous bodies should bring a “No Objection Certificate” from the concerned authority at the time of the interview.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates.
