DRDO Recruitment 2023: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is looking for suitable candidates to fill the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on a contract basis. Based on the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the maximum age for applying for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) is 28 years old as of the date of the interview. The age restriction is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and as per DRDO policy for all other categories of candidates.
As given in the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, there are 03 available seats for the previously mentioned position. The selected candidate would be paid a monthly salary of Rs.37000, with HRA as permitted by the guidelines. The first contract offered will be for a maximum of 05 years. The candidate will serve as a JRF for the first 02 years and then be promoted to SRF for the remaining 03 years, subject to good performance as determined by DRDO guidelines for research fellowship funding. According to the official DRDO Recruitment 2023 notification, an interview method will be used to choose the candidates. A Screening Committee has been created to assess the applications. Those who are requested to participate must provide complete bio-data, including a recent passport photograph affixed to the top right corner of the first page, as well as one set of self-attested copies of all degrees/academic qualification certificates/mark sheets/experience certificates, and so on. On the day of the interview, please come at 09:30 hrs at the Main Gate Reception, DRDE, Jhansi Road, Gwalior-474 002. Latecomers will not be permitted.

As per the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the initial offer will be a maximum of 05 Years. The candidate will work initially for the first 02 years as JRF and will subsequently be upgraded as SRF for the remaining 03 years subject to satisfactory performance to be assessed as per DRDO instructions for the grant of research fellowship.
In accordance with the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the candidates will be chosen through an interview process. The applications will be reviewed by a Screening Committee that has been formed. Candidates presently employed in Government Department/PSU’s/Autonomous Bodies will be required to produce NOC from the employer at the time of the interview. Candidates will be essentially required to produce original certificates/testimonials wrt. qualifications, experience, age and caste certificate for verification at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending an interview or for joining if selected.
