DRDO Recruitment 2023: The Defence Research and Development Organisation is conducting walk-in interviews for the positions of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Research Associate (RA) in the field of Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, and Electronics Engineering. According to DRDO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the interviews are scheduled to be held on May 29, 2023, at the DIBER campus in Haldwani, Uttarakhand. The selected JRFs and RAs will be paid monthly stipends of Rs. 31,000 and Rs. 54,300 respectively, along with HRA and other benefits. The appointments will be made as per DRDO and National Agency’s Research Fellowship rules, and the fellowship does not guarantee any right for absorption in DRDO.
As mentioned in the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, candidates applying for the positions must have the prescribed qualifications and are required to submit their applications with supporting documents by May 25, 2023. Only candidates possessing professional degree certificates are eligible to apply. The decision of the Center Head at DIBER will be final in case of any discrepancy. Candidates are also required to produce original certificates during the interview process. The advertisement reserves the right to amend and modify the number of vacancies as per organizational requirements.

As per DRDO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the maximum age limit is 28 years and 35 years for JRF and RA respectively.
According to the official notification for DRDO Recruitment 2023, the eligibility criteria for each post are as follows:
For JRF Electrical Engineering: Candidates should possess a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in the first division with NET/GATE or a post-graduate degree in Electrical Engineering (M.E./M.Tech) in the first division between the graduate and postgraduate level. Preference will be given to those who have exposure to power electronics.
For JRF Instrumentation Engineering/Electronics Engineering: Candidates should possess a graduate degree in Instrumentation Engineering/Electronics Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in the first division with NET/GATE or a post-graduate degree in Instrumentation Engineering/Electronics Engineering (M.E./M.Tech) in the first division between the graduate and postgraduate level. Preference will be given to those who have exposure to Bernice or a Postgraduate degree in instrumentation engineering.
For RA Chemical Engineering: Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or an M.Tech in Chemical Engineering with 3 years of research experience in Chemical Engineering with at least one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) journal.
As mentioned in the official notification for DRDO Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates for JRF will be paid Rs. 31,000 per month with HRA as per DRDO & National Agency’s Research Fellowship rules. The selected candidates for RA will be paid Rs. 54,000 per month with HRA as per DRDO & National Agency’s Research Fellowship rules.
As per DRDO Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates must submit their application with supporting documents to the Director of DIBER by May 25, 2023. Candidates are required to produce original certificates at the time of the interview. Candidates employed with a government department or public sector undertakings are required to produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer. The decision of the Center Head, DIBER (DRDO) Haldwani will be final in case of any disputes. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
