The Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) is willing to recruit qualified applicants for the role of Consultant on a contract basis in NSTL (DRDO).

Qualification for DRDO Recruitment 2024:

The qualification as per pay level in given below-

For Level 12- Candidates must have done ITI Draftsman (Mechanical) from a recognized institute/Board with having experience in 20 years in handling.

For Level 11- Candidates must have done ITI Draftsman (Civil) from a recognized institute/Board with experience in 30 years in handling civil /electrical works in pay level 11.

For level 10- The officer should have work experience in dealing with court cases, and disciplinary cases and should be well conversant.

Experience for DRDO Recruitment 2024:

• The Officers/Officials who have retired from Central/State Govts. PSUs. Autonomous Bodies, Universities, Govt. R&D Organizations and those possessing practical knowledge and experience are eligible to apply.
• The persons possessing experience of having worked with DRDO would be accorded preference during selection/appointment.
• He/ She should have effective communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills with a strong flair for in-depth examination of his/her areas of work.

Salary for DRDO Recruitment 2024:

The salary offered to the selected candidate for DRDO Recruitment 2024 will be in level 10, 11 and 12.

For Pensioners- Candidates will get a fixed monthly salary as admissible by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at the time of retirement.

For Non-Pensioners-

Note– Consultants shall not be entitled to any kind of allowance/ benefit such as Dearness Allowance, Transport Facility, Residential Accommodation, Personal Staff, CGHS, Medical reimbursement etc. However, should they be required to travel inside the country in connection with the official work of the organization, he/ she would be entitled to TA/ DA at the rate commensurate with his/her Grade Pay / Pay Level (as may be applicable) from which he/she retired.
