DU Admission 2022: New Academic Session for First Year to Commence around October 20

The New academic session 2022 of Delhi University for UG First Year Students will soon be started by October 20.

Between September 10 and September 15, results for the CUET-UG are anticipated. Prior to that, the university plans to open its admissions portal.

“Since there are numerous topic pairings, we need time to finish admissions this time. We hope to begin the new session on October 20,” the official continued.

This is the first time the university has decided to accept the scores of an entrance exam to grant admissions. DU used to witness skyrocketing cutoffs for UG admissions every year.

The central universities are required to accept students based on CUET scores, as stated in the University Grants Commission (UGC) notice from March.

The Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal will play a significant role in this year’s admissions process for universities connected to DU. There will be three stages to the process. Students must register through the CSAS-2022 application form once it is live and pay a one-time (non-refundable) fee at this point in the application process.

The second phase will begin after the CUET results are announced. If an applicant meets the requirements for their desired programme, they will be admitted to both the programme and the college. The school has advised the applicants to select a variety of programmes and colleges while keeping their preferences in mind. The preferences cannot be altered once they have been submitted.
