DVC Recruitment 2023: Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) is under the Ministry of Power, Government of India invites applications from qualified candidates for the posts of General Duty Medical Officer for Hospitals and Dispensaries under various Plants/Stations of DVC situated across West Bengal and Jharkhand. There are a total of 28 vacancies for the given post. According to the official notification of DVC recruitment 2023, selected candidates will be given a monthly remuneration of Rs. 83500. The maximum age limit is 62 years as per the official notification of DVC recruitment 2023.
The appointment is made on a contractual basis for a period of 1 year which may be extended for another maximum of 2 years as per requirement. Candidates will be selected on the basis of interviews. According to the official notification of DVC recruitment 2023, eligible candidates have to appear for the walk-in-Interview on the 13th, 15th and 20th of March 2023 from 10 am. Candidates have to bring all the relevant documents at the time of the interview.

Travelling Allowance- For journeys in connection with duties will be guided by the TA rules of the Corporation.
Accommodation- Accommodation may be provided, if available, subject to deduction of the license fee, electricity and water charge as applicable to the DVC employees. However, no HRA/FCA/Energy Allowance is admissible in any case.
Conveyance Allowance- As applicable for regular employees.
Medical facilities- The incumbent (not other family members) will get medical facilities only in DVC Hospitals, but there will be no reimbursement of medical expenses.
In accordance with the official notification of DVC recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit is 62 years as of the date of the interview.
As given the official notification of DVC recruitment 2023, candidates should have MBBS Degree recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and obtained from a recognized Medical College/University & one year of experience as a Medical practitioner after internship.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of interviews. The eligibility of the candidate will be confirmed after Document Verification at the time of the Walk In Interview.
Candidates can appear only at any one of the mentioned venues as per their convenience.
