Overview:

Eaton is hiring an experienced Senior Analyst – Software Asset Management, Digital Design & Manufacturing at their Pune location. The incumbent will work closely with IT & business stakeholders on end to end software life cycle management. The incumbent will perform the Software Asset Management functions for Engineering software. Responsibilities include License Administration, Software Renewal, Maintenance, Trouble Shooting Issues, Metrics / Capacity planning & Software Consolidation. Incumbent will work with engineering and business groups to lay out engineering software strategy, implement functional software and process solutions to meet desired business requirements, support system processes and improvements that use standard Eaton solutions. Incumbent will also be responsible to learn and contribute on digital solutions in digital design and manufacturing domain and drive initiatives for our digital technologies.

Roles and responsibilities:

The ideal candidate should be able to:

• Participate in implementation/enhancement projects for target system using Prolaunch
• Participate in the project delivery lifecycle – taking approved designs through to go-live.
• Support project cut-overs, go-lives and warranty support.
• Build strong relationships with other IT professionals and with business users.
• Help gather requirements scope & disposition through process compliance and gap analysis and look for continuous improvement opportunities
• Deliver functional specifications & configuration in line with the agreed and approved design.
• Complete documentation and unit testing.
• Implement Organizational Change Management plans.
• Support M&A activities.

Eligibility:

• Education Qualification: B.Tech. / B.E / MCA from an accredited institution
• Experience Required:5 – 7 years experience in Software Asset Management in engineering or IT domain.  Certification in Software Asset Management and experience in using IT Service Management application(s) and digital solutions will be an added advantage.”
