Empanelment of CA Firm for Stock Audit of UCO Bank
Reputable individuals/firms are invited to apply for empanelment as stock auditors with our Siliguri Zone branches in the approved manner.
On our Bank's corporate website (www.ucobank.com), you can find the prescribed form, eligibility requirements, declaration cum undertaking (which must be signed on nonjudicial stamp paper of the required value) and stock auditor code of conduct.
Individuals/firms who meet the eligibility criteria should submit their applications, along with the necessary credentials, in a sealed envelope to our office by June 23, 2022 at the latest.

Application received after the deadline and without all required information will be summarily rejected, and the Bank's decision will be final and binding on all parties.
The bank will be free to reject or empanel any individual or firm without giving any justification to those impacted.
Educational Qualifications:
- The applicant must be a qualified Chartered Accountant or a firm of Chartered / Cost Accountants registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
- A Fellow/associate member of the Institution of Stock Auditors who is a specialist in jewellery, precious stones, and ornaments, or a specialist in works of art, or a Stock Auditor for chemicals, or a Stock Auditor of any other specialised stock, may apply for empanelment as a stock auditor for such specialised categories. An audit firm that has at least one such partner or senior employee may be appointed as stock auditor for such specialised stock.
Experience:
- The applicant must have at least 3 years of post-qualification experience as a Stock Auditor with any commercial bank (public or private). Individual experience of any partners, etc. of at least 3 years can also be considered in the case of a firm, etc.
- If the stock auditor/proprietor, or any of the audit firm's partners/employees, is a former employee of our Bank, the stock auditor/audit firm will be eligible for empanelment following a cooling-off period of two (2) years from the date of that employee's retirement.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant must be an Indian citizen or a company incorporated in India.
- In addition to a Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant, there must be at least two trained/semi-trained employees/Trainees/Apprentices.
- Adequate financial analysis knowledge.
- All partners, as well as the individuals/firms applying, must be income tax assessees.
- Auditors who have been reported to the CBI, SFIO, police, or a court of law, and/or who have been blacklisted by any bank, FI, RBI, IBA, or other organisation are ineligible.
- An insolvent who has been undercharged is not eligible for empanelment.
