Enviro Infra Engineers Wins Rs 8.65 Crore Arbitration Award Against HSIIDC
Enviro Infra Engineering Favourable arbitral award of Rs 8.65 crore. The award covers two projects. In Faridabad and Rohtak including principal amount interest and litigation cost. The arbitration was concluded May 6, 2026.
This all began in 2022 when EIEL thought enough was enough and brought HSIIDC to arbitration in connection with unpaid dues of two wastewater treatment projects in Haryana. One was a 10.5 MLD effluent treatment plant in Faridabad, other, a 10 MLD plant in Rohtak which were both constructed by EIEL under contract and maintained under its agreement.

Proceedings were administered by the Delhi International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), the sole arbitrator was present to rule on the matter in favour of EIEL. Faridabad contributed Rs 4.75 crore and Rohtak contributed Rs 3.34 crore. And furthermore, the HSIIDC is required to pay 16% simple interest per annum on the pending VAT and Service Tax amounts starting January 2026 and till all has been cleared up. And that’s not all EIEL also incurs Rs14 lakh in legal costs for each case, plus a full refund of any deposit it made with DIAC for the purposes of doing so in the said cases.
The award was signed by the company’s legal counsel Sahil Garg and presented promptly to both the NSE and the BSE as dictated by SEBI listing guidelines.
