EPACK Durable Limited has informed the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange Limited (BSE) that it has received a Rectification Order passed by the Deputy Commissioner, Income Tax Department, under Section 154/144/144B of the Income Tax Act, 1961, for the Assessment Year 2023-24 (Financial Year 2022-23).
The said order had raised a tax demand amounting to Rs 29.03 crores against the company. The company had received the order on June 11, 2026, in respect of the Assessment Order issued by the Assessment Unit, Income Tax Department. Thereafter, the company filed a rectification application before the Jurisdictional Assessing Officer (AO).
When the application was examined by the Deputy Commissioner of the Income Tax Department, a rectification order was passed, reducing the tax demand to Rs 5.89 crores from Rs 29.03 crores.
