Finance Minister Unveils Initiative to Boost India’s Manufacturing Industries The Union Finance Minister has announced several important steps to strengthen India’s manufacturing sector, especially in strategic and advanced industries. These initiatives aim to support the vision of Viksit Bharat and promote economic growth. The following are the initiatives: 1. One major initiative is Biopharma SHAKTI, which aims to make India a global centre for biopharmaceutical manufacturing. 2. The government has also proposed to start the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) 2.0. 3. The government has decided to increase the budget for the Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme to Rs. 40,000 crore.
