FSSAI Recruitment 2023: The Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has invited Online Applications from Young Candidates Eligible for pursuing Internships notified vide the FSSAI Recruitment 2023 Advertisement. The Candidates having fulfilled Eligibility with Interest may apply Online. The Online Application Process is in progress. The Last Date for the Candidates to complete the Online Application Process shall close on 5th March 2023 (05.03.2023) mentioned in the FSSAI Recruitment 2023 Notification.
Note*: Announcement in respect of the Shortlisted Candidates shall be made. Accordingly, the Shortlisted Names of the Eligible Interns would be displayed on 20th March 2023 (20.03.2023). The Selected Interns would have to join on 3rd April 2023 (03.04.2023) so has been notified in the FSSAI Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.
Note: The Food Safety & Standards Authority of India is a Statutory Body established under the Food Safety & Standards Act 2006 under the aegis of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MHFW), Government of India. The FSSAI is the Apex Body responsible for ensuring Food Safety and compliance to Food Standards across the country. The FSSAI Internship Program will provide Interns with Unique Learning Opportunities in various areas of Food regulation of Food Safety Administration.
Based on the FSSAI Recruitment 2023, the Interns would be placed for Internship at the FSSAI Head Quarters, Regional Offices and National Food Laboratory.

Internship Tenure: Initially for 03 Months, likely to be extended up to Maximum 06 Months
Posting Locations: The FSSAI (Head Quarters), New Delhi, Regional Offices (Mumbai and Chennai), National Food Laboratory (Ghaziabad, Kolkata and Raxaul)
According to the FSSAI Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Deserving Candidates shall be placed for Internships in the Head Quarters, Regional Offices and National Food Laboratories (NFLs).
Stipend: The Deserving Intern Candidates selected for Internship would be paid Fixed Monthly Rs.10000 (Rupees Ten Thousand) only for the Internship Period. The Interns shall be paid the Stipend on the recommendation of the Office/Division that they are attached with by the FSSAI Head Quarter.
The Students only pursuing a Full-Time Graduate/Post-Graduate Degree/Higher Degree from any duly Recognized Institute within India/Abroad, in any of the following:
a) Pursuing Post Graduate Degree/B.Tech/B.Engg in Chemistry Or Biochemistry Or Food Technology Or Food Science and Technology Or Food and Nutrition Or Edible Oil Technology Or Microbiology Or Dairy Technology Or Agricultural Or Horticultural Sciences Or Industrial Microbiology Or Toxicology Or Public Health Or Life Science or Biotechnology Or Fruit and Vegetable Technology Or Food Safety and Quality Assurance from any Recognized University/Institution.
b) Business Administration & Management including Policy Regulation and related fields only in the FSSAI Head Quarter.
c) Post Graduate Diploma/Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication and Public Relations.
d) B.Engg./B. Tech (Only 3rd and 4th Year students not for 2nd or 1st Year) in Computer Science/Information Technology Software Engineering Or related Stream.
e) Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in Public Policy Public Administration only for the FSSAI Head Quarters.
f) Bachelor of Legal Laws/Master of Legal Laws only for the FSSAI Head Quarters.
The Selection Criteria for Deserving Interns will be decided on the basis of the I) Attendance, II) Assessment by their respective Reporting Officers; and III) Evaluation of the Report issued/submitted by the Committee.
Tenure: The Internship payable to Deserving Interns will be available throughout the Year at different points of time. The Interns shall be paid Internship for up to 03 Months’ Duration, which may be extended to Maximum 06 Months’ period. The Interns shall not be paid Internship Stipend for the duration lesser than a Month.
The Candidates selected as Interns shall be placed for Engagement in the FSSAI (Head Quarters), New Delhi, Regional Offices (Mumbai and Chennai), and National Food Laboratory (Ghaziabad, Kolkata and Raxaul).
Note: The Shortlisted Candidate may need to submit a short Write-up/Presentation for Final Selection.
The Final List of the Selected Candidates with their Date of Joining and Internship Tenure would be declared Online on the FSSAI Website by the respective Offices where they have opted for the Internship.
Based on the FSSAI Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Candidates should complete the Online Application/Registration explained therein. The Last Date for the Candidates to complete the Online Application Process shall close on 5th March 2023 (05.03.2023) mentioned in the FSSAI Recruitment 2023 Notification.
