Gopal Snacks Reports No Production Impact from Government Gas Supply Limits
Gopal Snacks Limited, an Indian Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company that manufactures and sells a wide range of snack products, including ethnic snacks like gathiya, western snacks like wafers, papad, spices, etc., issued a disclosure on March 12, 2026, of its business update regarding the ongoing gas supply shortage to BSE Ltd and NSE Ltd.
Company's Business Update
Gopal Snacks Limited said that although the Government of India has recently restricted the use of gas for commercial purposes due to tensions in the Middle East and is prioritising it for household use, this will not affect the company’s production. The company already uses bio-coal as an alternative fuel at its Modasa and Nagpur plants, so its manufacturing operations are running smoothly. As a result, the company will continue to meet customer demand without any interruptions or delays in product deliveries. It also focuses on using different fuel sources to reduce dependence on a single type of fuel and avoid such challenges in the future. Company's Disclosure The above disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.About Author
