The Government of India has revised the SAED rate on HSD oil exports to Rs 23 per litre, effective May 1, 2026.

Government Revises SAED Rates on Exports of HSD Oil [Read Notification]
The Ministry of Finance (Government of India) has recently issued a notification on April 30, 2026, revising the rate applicable under a specific entry in its earlier order.
According to the new Notification, the Central government has replaced the existing rate mentioned in Serial No. 2 of the earlier notification with a new rate of Rs 23 per litre.
The central government made the above amendment under the powers of the Central Excise Act, 1944, read with the Finance Act, 2002, and has been made in the public interest.
Note: The revised rate will come into effect from May 1, 2026.
