GPSC Recruitment 2023: The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) is inviting young, dynamic and eligible candidates for the post of Junior Geologist, Class-3 (GWRDC). As per the GPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the hiring will be made for 44 Vacancies. The shortlisted candidates will be paid a monthly salary on the Pay scale of Rs. 39,900-1,26,600/- [Level-07]. The candidates willing to be hired for this position shouldn’t be below 20 years, however, they must not be above 36 years of age as of the closing date of application submission. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Geology or in Applied Geology or Geo-technical engineering of any of the Universities established under the Central or State Act in India. The candidates should have a basic knowledge of Computer Applications and adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
As per the GPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, Interested and qualified candidates can apply online by filling out and submitting the application form available on the GPSC’s official website. Candidates may apply on the official website between 24 August and 8th September 2023. To determine the appropriate applicant, the selection committee will conduct an exam and interviews. The test will be conducted on a direct examination basis on 24th December 2023. The examination results will be revealed in April 2024. The applicants will be invited to a scheduled test, which will consist of paper 1 of a total of 200 questions of 200 marks, with 100 marks each for General Studies, English, and Gujarati.
