GST Dept. inspects 4 bullion Traders in Ludhiana The State GST department visited four bullion sellers' businesses in Ludhiana's Sarafa Bazaar. According to sources, the move was performed on the orders of Randhir Kaur, the deputy commissioner of state taxes. It also comes on the heels of a DRI raid at Sarafa Bazaar a few days earlier. According to sources, officials led by Sumandeep Kaur, assistant commissioner of state taxes, took documents into their possession besides checking the stock available. Several of the parties were subjected to the inspections on suspicion of tax evasion. DCST Randhir Kaur stated, "Four inspections were done today at Kashish Jewellers, K C Traders, AdiShakti Jewellery, and Miglani Traders. Stock was taken during inspection, and documents were impounded for verification."
