GST Portal Update: Consumer Agreement or Electricity Consumer no. required to get GST Number

There is a new update on GST Portal. Now Tabs for Consumer Agreement (CA) or Electricity Consumer (EC) numbers have been added to the ‘State Specific Information’ section of the GST registration form.

Thus it is now mandatory to provide CA/EC number while applying for GST registration.
