The Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) has issued an update that GST Payments can be made through UPI and Debit/Credit Cards in 15 states/UTs.
Now taxpayers have the option to pay their taxes via UPI and Debit/Credit Cards. This facility is currently available in only 15 states/UTs.
Here is the List of States/UTs:
1. Assam
2. Delhi
3. Goa
4. Gujarat
5. Haryana
6. Himachal Pradesh
7. Jharkhand
8. Karnataka
9. Kerala
10. Madhya Pradesh
11. Maharashtra
12. Odisha
13. Rajasthan
14. Tripura
15. Uttar Pradesh
Rest of India and Banks are to be covered soon.
This is applicable for all UPIs, Credit/Debit cards powered by Rupay, MasterCard, Visa and Diners via Kotak Mahindra Bank.
