GST Revenue Collection shows 7.5% Growth with 10.7% increase in growth from last year
The Goods and Service Tax Department recently updated the GST revenue collections for the month of July, 2025.
Total Net GST monthly Revenue of July 24 was 165,800, and monthly Revenue of July 25 was 168,588; however, the total growth of GST revenue was 1.7%. Whereas talking about the yearly GST Department Updates GST Revenue Collection revenue of July 24 it was 655,974, and the revenue of July 25 was 711,128, and the total growth was 8.4%.
State-wise growth of GST Revenues during July, 2025, Highest growth state was Tripura, with a growth rate of 41% and the lowest state was Lakshadweep, with -52% (negative growth), while the two states Centre Jurisdiction and Andaman and Nicobar Islands were the second highest, with a growth rate of 31% and the second lowest state was Mizoram, with negative growth of -21%.
Highest State growth of Pre-Settlement SGST was Lakshadweep, with growth of 85% and the second-highest growth state was Nagaland, with 53% growth. while the lowest growth state was Mizoram with -30% of negative growth, and the second lowest growth state was Jammu and Kashmir with -5% of negative growth.
Highest State growth of Post-Settlement SGST was of three states: Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland, with the same percentage growth of 21% and the second-highest growth state was Lakshadweep, with 18% growth. while the lowest growth state was Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu with -14% (negative growth), and the second lowest growth state was Manipur with -5% of negative growth.
Total collection by Central Formations of CGST was 69,323 and SGST was 85,827 and IGST was 114,178, while the Cess was 24,750 and the Grand Total was 294,073.
Total collection by State Formations of CGST was 84,772 and SGST was 104,774, and IGST was 114,683, while the Cess was 23,209 and the Grand Total was 327,444.
Grand Total of Both (Central and State Formations):– CGST was 154,095, SGST was 190,601, and IGST was 228,861, while the Cess was 47,960 and the Grand Total was 621,517.
