GSTAT Portal Update: Facility for Uploading Documents and Checklists Before Payment of Fee
The GSTAT Portal has been updated to provide the facility of “Upload Document” and “Checklist” even before payment of court fees. Earlier, the portal was allowing the uploading of documents only after the completion of fee payment, which posed practical difficulties while filing appeals.
The issue was earlier raised by the Marwar GST Bar Association in its representation dated 29.01.2026.
Why is it considered a “Positive Update”?
Many users on social media have posted about the new update. A user stated that it was a “much-awaited development for the GST fraternity”. The user further added that the update is a positive step because it will help in the following:
