GSTN Alert: GST Services to Remain Unavailable on September 30, 2025
The Goods and Services Tax (GST) Department of the Government of India has recently declared that services on the official GST Portal will be unavailable due to scheduled enhancing services and the downtime will begin on September 30, 2025, at 12:00 AM and continue until 6:00 AM on the same day.
The department added that the enhancement work is being undertaken to improve portal services. It has also expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to taxpayers during this period.
Portal services including return filing, registration, and payments will remain unavailable during the downtime. Taxpayers are recommended to complete their pending compliance tasks in advance.
