GSTN introduces Slot Booking Facility for Biometric Aadhaar Authentication for GST Registration
In a major development, the Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) has rolled out a new facility of Slot Booking for Biometric Aadhaar Authentication for GST Registration as per Rule 8 of CGST Rules, 2017.
This new facility is now rolled out in the states of Bihar, Delhi, Karnataka and also Punjab. The facility has been rolled out in 12 States/UTs till September 06, 2024.
Rolled out in following States/UTs till 6th September 2024
1. Andhra Pradesh 2. Bihar* 3. Chandigarh 4. Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu 5. Delhi* 6. Gujarat 7. Jammu and Kashmir 8. Karnataka* 9. Puducherry 10. Punjab* 11. Uttarakhand 12. West Bengal Note: Remaining states/UTs to be covered soon.
