Guidance Note on Audit of Banks by ICAI As the Season of Bank Audit is coming, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India [ICAI] has issued a Guidance Note on the Audit of Banks. This is the 16th Edition of the Guidance Note issued for March 2021. The Guidance Note has been issued by the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board. Members are also advised to read this Guidance Note in conjunction with other two publications (Technical Guide on Audit of Internal Financial Controls in Case of Public Sector Banks and Technical Guide on Revised Formats of Long Form Audit Report) of AASB.
