Gujarat must collect Rs 7,183.61 crore from the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council over the last two years, the state administration announced on Monday.
In answer to a query, the government stated that Gujarat must recover Rs 3,376.76 crore from the GST Council for the financial year 2020-21 and Rs 3,806.85 crore for the financial year 2021-22. C J Chavda, a Congress MLA, had requested more information.
