Has the due date for claiming input tax credits for FY 21-22 been extended to November?

Budget 2022 announced that CGST Act is being amended so as to provide for an extended time for, Claiming Input Tax Credit (ITC), issuance of credit notes, the rectification of errors in respect of details of outward supplies upto the thirtieth day of November.

Friends, Please note that the amendments as quoted above by the Finance Act 2022 have not been notified as of date.

As of now, the Due Date is the due date for filing GSTR-3B for the month of September.

The last date for claiming input tax credits for FY 21-22, therefore remains to be the due date for filing GSTR-3B for the month of September.
