HPSC Recruitment 2023: Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Assistant Scientist. Candidates should have Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric Standard or Hindi as one of the subjects in Higher Education. For all posts of Assistant Scientist, candidates should have cleared NET/SET. Condition of NET may be exempted for the subjects like Remote Sensing/GIS/Geo-informatics where no agency conducts the NET exam.
Candidates having Post Graduate Diploma/Degree in Remote Sensing/ GIS (Geographic Information System) from a recognized University/ Institute will be given preference. Candidates should have one year of experience in the application of Remote Sensing/GIS in Soils. Preference will be given to candidates with computer application knowledge for all the scientific posts.
