ICMR Recruitment 2023: Check Post, Eligibility, Age Limit and How to Apply
ICMR Recruitment 2023: Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) is seeking eligible candidates for four reputed positions: Biotechnologist, Consultant Microbiologist, Biomedical Engineer, and Senior Laboratory Technician. The total number of vacancies in the above posts is five. The maximum age restriction for each post is 65 years. According to the official notification of ICMR recruitment 2023, the salary structure for the top three positions: Biotechnologist, Consultant Microbiologist, and Biomedical Engineer is Rs. 65,000/- per month, whereas Laboratory Technician will only be paid Rs. 25,000/- monthly.
As per the ICMR recruitment 2023 notification, recruitments for the above posts will be made under, a long-term project, “National Reference Laboratory (NRL)” under the National Tuberculosis Eradication Program (NTEP). As per the official notification published by ICMR Recruitment 2023, the final date for the interview is on 3rd March 2023 between 9:00 am to 11:00 am.

As per the official Recruitment 2023 advertisement of ICMR, candidates will be selected based on experience and qualification for the following positions:
For Biotechnologist
Applicants must have a degree in Ph.D. in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology with three years of work experience in TB Bacteriology/ Biotechnology/Molecular Biology. Or he/she must have a degree in M.Sc. Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology with five years of work experience in TB Bacteriology/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology.
For Consultant Microbiologist
Candidates must possess a degree in M.D. Microbiology with three years of work experience in Bacteriology, a degree in Ph.D. Medical Microbiology / General Microbiology/ Applied Microbiology with three years of experience in Bacteriology, or a degree in M.Sc. Medical Microbiology /Applied Microbiology / General Microbiology with five years of work experience in Bacteriology.
For Biomedical Engineer
An applicant must be a graduate of B.E/ B. Tech in Biomedical Engineering with three years of work experience in the related field.
For Senior Laboratory Technician
To be eligible for the post, candidates must have a degree in M.Sc. Medical Microbiology/ Applied Microbiology/ General Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology with three years of work experience in TB Bacteriology, or he/she must be a degree holder in B.Sc. Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Life Science with five years of work experience in TB Bacteriology.

According to the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2023, candidates must submit the application form in the prescribed format with all relevant documents: educational qualifications, certificates, mark-sheets from 10th, working experience, age, caste, and photo id [Aadhar Card/Indian Passport/PAN Card/Driving License] etc., within the scheduled date and time. The hiring for the above posts will be done through a face-to-face interview procedure, which will take place on 3rd March 2023 at ICMR-National JALMA Institute for Leprosy and Other Mycobacterial Diseases, Dr. M.
