IAF Recruitment 2024: The Indian Air Force (IAF) is inviting online applications from desired, well-motivated, and eligible Male and Female candidates for the selection test for the Agniveervayu intake 01/2026 under the Agnipath Scheme aimed to provide an opportunity to Nation’s youth to experience military way of life for a period of four years. Only unmarried candidates (male and female) will be eligible for enrolment as Agniveervayu and they shall undertake not to marry during the defined engagement period of four years. Candidates chosen for the aforementioned post can be paid a maximum salary of upto Rs. 30000 for the first year and a salary increase every year with fixed yearly increment, in addition to risk and Hardship allowances (as applicable in IAF), Dress and Travel allowances.
In reference to the official notification of IAF Recruitment 2024, the examination fee is Rs. 550 plus GST and is to be paid online by the candidate while registering for the online test. The payment can be made by Debit Cards/ Credit Cards/ Internet Banking through a payment gateway. The selection of candidates will be made on the basis of an Online Test that will be conducted by the committee. The upper age limit of applicants must be 21 years, which means they should be born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2008. In accordance with the official notification of IAF Recruitment 2024, the candidate must have an upper age limit of 21 years. This means candidates must be born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2008 (both dates inclusive).
Candidates in IAF Recruitment 2024, according to the official notification will be shortlisted based on an Online Test that will be conducted by the committee. The essential detials related to the online test are below:
As stated in the official notification of IAF Recruitment 2024, the chosen candidates will be given a monthly salary of Rs.30000 in the first year. In addition, SK and Hardship allowances (as applicable in IAF) and dress and Travel allowances will be paid. Perks such as ration, clothing, accommodation and Leave Travel Concession (LTC) shall also provided as per the existing rules.
According to the official notification of IAF Recruitment 2024, Agniveervayu will be enrolled in the Indian Air Force under the Air Force Act 1950, for a period of FOUR years.
On completion of four years of service, based on the organisation’s requirements and policies promulgated by the Indian Air Force, Agniveervayu will be offered an opportunity to apply for enrolment in the regular cadre of the Indian Air Force as Airmen. These applications will be considered in a centralised manner based on objective criteria, including performance during their four-year engagement period and up to 25% of each specific batch of Agniveervayu will be enrolled in a regular cadre of IAF.
Candidates filling out the online applications for IAF Recruitment 2024 are required to pay the examination fee of Rs. 550 plus GST. The fee is required to be paid online at the time of registering for the online examination. The payment can be made by Debit Cards/ Credit Cards/ Internet Banking through a payment gateway.
