ICAI Announces Revised Dates for CA Inter Auditing and Ethics Exam
The Examination Department under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has recently shared an important announcement on January 19, 2026, regarding the rescheduled examination date of the CA Inter Examination, Group II, Paper-5, Auditing and Ethics.
ICAI announced that the Intermediate Exam, Group II, Paper 5, Auditing and Ethics, which was earlier scheduled for Monday, 19 January 2026, will now be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026. The exam will still take place at the same examination centre and at the same timings as before, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (IST). It also clarified that the Admit cards will remain valid for the rescheduled date.
ICAI added that even if the exam date later becomes a public holiday, the exam will still be held as planned. The schedule will not change.
ICAI also advised candidates to regularly visit the Institute’s official website, www.icai.org, for the latest updates.
