ICAI CA Result 2024: The Institute of Chartered Accountants ICAI is expected to release the results for the CA Final and Intermediate exams. According to ICAI Central Council Member (CCM) Dhiraj Khandelwal, the ICAI CA Intermediate, Final Result 2024 for the May session is anticipated to be released on 5th July 2024. He announced on platform X that the first week of July is when the results are anticipated to be released.
“The CA Inter and Final Results can be announced during the first week of July. We have council meetings on July 2 and 3, therefore the results may be announced on July 5,” he wrote on X.
The dates of the CA Final May 2024 exam are set for 2nd, 4th and 6th May for Group 1 and the 8th, 10th and 12th May for Group 2. Groups 1 and 2 will take the CA Inter examinations in May 2024 from 3rd May to 13th May. Between 2:00 and 5:00 PM, the Intermediate Exam was held. Final Exam Papers 1 through 5 were held from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, and Final Paper 6 was held from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. The candidates were not happy when the exam dates were changed to avoid falling on the same day as the general elections. Despite the students’ protests, the exam took place on the planned date.
The institution stated that the remaining questions, or 70% of the paper, will follow the current pattern of assessment, with the objective-type questions carrying a 30% weighting in each paper.
There are two or one marks awarded for each multiple-choice question; incorrect responses will not result in a deduction of marks. A statement of marks will be mailed to the candidates following the announcement of the CA results. However, you can send an email to [email protected] if, for whatever reason, you do not receive the same within 4-5 weeks of the results being announced.
A candidate had to pass in both groups at the same time in order to meet the requirements for passing. Passing candidates will be those who receive at least 40% in each paper in one sitting and at least 50% overall across all of the group’s papers.
