The ICAIhas always been at the service of the Nation with all its resources, expertise and efforts to make the lawssimple, transparent & fair in India. Last year, the Indirect Taxes Committee had submitted its suggestions on GST Act, Rules etc. including non-functionality of GSTN atsevendifferent stages. Out of which, 135 suggestions have been accepted by them and we can say that objective of making the GST simple, to some extent, has been achieved.
However, we at ICAI, feel that we need to look at provision of GST afresh and find out the glitches, make suggestions for appropriate simplification of the Law. You have been involved in the implementation of GST at the ground level and kept abreast of the evolving GST law. We The Chartered Accountants are acknowledged as knowledgeable professional.
Therefore,we request you to provide us with various issues and suggestions in the area of Indirect Taxes including GST, Customs and FTP for making them simple, fair and transparent to improve ease of doing business and facilitate trade.
