The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the notification outlining the requirements for applying for the Chartered Accountancy (CA) Final January 2026 Examinations. The ICAI has advised the candidates to view their status at the self-service portal (SSP) and make sure they fulfil the eligibility criteria to fill the exam forms at SSP.
Important Things to Check Before Applying
Students should check for the following things before applying for the CA Final January 2026 Exams:
- They have SSP login credentials.
- Their photograph and signature are updated, and the size is according to the ICAI's specified size.
- Their articleship status is being shown as "Registered on portal."
- The candidate must be registered or converted for the Final New Course.
- Based on the duration of the articleship (2 years or 3 and a half years), the candidates should have completed the training before December 31, 2025 or,
- They must be in service as of January 1, 2026, completing the training by June 30, 2026 or December 31, 2026, as applicable.
