ICAI Notifies Establishment of Gondia District Branch under WIRC Effective August 13

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has set up new branch under WIRC in Gondia District to better serve members and students in the area.

ICAI Notifies Establishment of Gondia District Branch under WIRC Effective August 13 The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), in implementation of Regulation 159 (1A) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988 notifies the setting up of a Branch of the Western Indian Regional Council (WIRC) in Gondia District, Maharashtra. The Branch will be called the Gondia District Branch of the Western India Regional Council and its headquarters will be at Gondia.
ICAI Awards Membership Certificates to 13,737 New Chartered Accountants at Convocation Ceremony
Apart from the following places, the jurisdiction of the Branch will cover the whole District of Gondia:
  1. Gondia
  2. Tiroda
  3. Sadak Arjuni
  4. Arjuni Morgaon
  5. Amgaon
  6. Deori
  7. Goregaon
As specified under sub-regulation (3) of Regulation 159, the Branch will only function subject to the control, supervision and direction of the Council via the Western India Regional Council and will conduct such directions from time to time, as issued by the Council. Note: The new branch of the Western India Regional Council (WIRC) will come into effect from August 13, 2025. To know complete details refer the notification-
