ICAI GMCS Course Faces Online Backlash

ICAI Program With PPT Based on Quran Sparks Online Controversy
A user recently shared a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) to express their displeasure over an incident during a training program by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
The user in the post alleged that students in the GMCS course in Pune, Maharashtra, were asked to read material from the Quran and prepare a PowerPoint presentation (PPT) on office ethics based on that. The user claimed that the experience was uncomfortable and disappointing for them, as they believed that religious content should not be included in the training module of a professional course.
People online are sharing different opinions about this issue.
One user supported the claim and said that every Hindu should report such incidents if they experience them or see them happening around them.
However, others believe the claim is fake. Another user commented that "this might have been a remote incident. ICAI is the only institute along with its sister concerns who has been unbiased in everything. No reservations nothing." The user said they are confident that such a situation would not be common everywhere.
Many users are tagging ICAI on social media and asking for a response, but so far, there has been no official reply from the institute.
