ICAI Releases Comprehensive Guidance on Information Systems Audit Standards and Implementation

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Digital Accounting and Assurance Board, has released a handbook named the “Compendium of Information Systems Audit Standards“. This is a consolidated edition in which the standards related to Information Systems Audit have been compiled together. It is released as the latest compiled edition.

This handbook provides detailed guidance for the information systems audit standards. This includes standards related to IT governance, information systems risk management, IT general and application controls, cybersecurity assurance, data protection compliance, incident response, and technology-driven processes. This publication provides implementation and technology guidance for effectively implementing the standards.
