ICAI Releases Revised Technical Guide on KPI Disclosure and Reporting in Offer Documents
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (Set up by an Act of Parliament) has recently published a revised edition of the Technical Guide on Disclosure and Reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in Offer Documents. ICAI had previously issued the "Technical Guide on Disclosure and Reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in Offer Documents" in April 2023.
This Revised book includes KPIs' objective, purpose, standards for definitions of terms used for disclosing KPIs, process of selection of KPIs and more. It also provides guidance on the roles and responsibilities of bankers, issuer companies and practitioners.
The Revised Technical Guide is essential, as it provides detailed guidance to the practitioners on various aspects of reporting requirements relating to KPIs, including the illustrative format of the report on KPIs.
