ICAI Removes Names of 16 Chartered Accountants from Members Register on Guilty of Professional Misconducts
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India [ICAI] has removed names of 16 Chartered Accountants removed form members register. The Disciplinary committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has found 16 Chartered Accountants guilty of professional misconduct. Names of the 16 Members has been removed from the Register along with the Fine.
The Names are as follows:
CA. Ravi Agarwal (Membership No. 407938), has been found guilty of Professional Misconduct under Clauses (7), (8), and (9) of Part I of the Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and has been ordered to have his name removed from the Register of Members for a period of 01(One) year, as well as a With effect from November 26, 2021, CA. Ravi Agarwal (Membership No. 407938) will be removed from the Register of Members for a period of one year.
CA. Nikhilkumar Hasmukhbhai Jani (Membership No. 124684) has been found guilty of Professional Misconduct under Clauses (7) and (8) of Part I of the Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and has been ordered to have his name removed from the Register of Members for a period of 15(fifteen) days With effect from November 26th, 2021, CA. Nikhilkumar Hasmukhbhai Jani (Membership No. 124684) will be removed from the Register of Members for a term of 15(fifteen) days.
CA. Nitin Madhusudanji Mantri (Membership No. 132470) has been found guilty of Professional Misconduct falling within the meaning of Item (7) of Part I of the Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and has been ordered to have his name removed from the Register of Members for a With effect from November 26th, 2021, CA. Nitin Madhusudanji Mantri (Membership No. 132470) will be removed from the Register of Members for a duration of one month.
CA. Maddala Galiswara Rao (Membership No. 029893) has been found guilty of Professional Misconduct falling within the meaning of Clause (1) of Part II of the Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and has been ordered to have his name removed from the Register of With effect from November 26th, 2021, CA. Maddala Galiswara Rao (Membership No. 029893) will be withdrawn from the Register of Members for a term of 02(two) months.
CA. Ajay Agarwal (Membership No. 054233) has been found guilty of 'Other Misconduct' falling within the meaning of Clause (2) of Part IV of the First Schedule read with Section 22 of the aforesaid Act and has been ordered to have his name removed from the Register of Members for a period of 02(Two) months With effect from November 26th, 2021, CA. Ajay Agarwal (Membership No. 054233) will be withdrawn from the Register of Members for a term of 02(two) months.
CA. Ronak Bhut (Membership No. 149575) has been found guilty of Professional Misconduct under Clause (7) of Part I of the Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and has been ordered to have his name removed from the Register of Members for a period of 02(two) years. With effect from November 26th, 2021, CA. Ronak Bhut (Membership No. 149575) will be removed from the Register of Members for a term of 02(two) years.
CA. Ujjavalkumar Vallabhdas Chaniyara (Membership No. 151776) has been found guilty of Professional Misconduct under Clause (7) of Part I of the Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and has been ordered to have his name removed from the Register of Members for a period of one year. With effect from November 26th, 2021, CA. Ujjavalkumar Vallabhdas Chaniyara (Membership No. 151776) will be removed from the Register of Members for a term of 02(two) years.
CA. Anant Kankani (Membership No. 111603) has been found guilty of Professional Misconduct under Clause (2) of Part II of the Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and has been ordered to have his name removed from the Register of Members for a period of 05(Five) years by the Disciplinary Committee. With effect from November 26th, 2021, CA. Anant Kankani (Membership No. 111603) will be removed from the Register of Members for a term of 05(five) years.
CA. Siddharth Shyam Shetye (Membership No. 116188) has been found guilty of Professional Misconduct falling within the meaning of Clauses (5) and (7) of Part I of the Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and has been ordered to have his name removed from the Register of Members for With effect from November 26, 2021, CA. Siddharth Shyam Shetye (Membership No. 116188) will be removed from the Register of Members for a period of one year.
CA. Shrikant Shankar Nironi (Membership No. 215563) has been found guilty of Professional Misconduct within the meaning of Clause (7) of Part I of the Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and has been ordered to have his name removed from the Register of Members for a period of 02(Two) years and also imposed a fine of Rs. 25,000/-.
CA. Parag Vinodchandra Mehta (Membership No. 036867) has been found guilty of 'Other Misconduct' falling within the meaning of Item (2) of Part IV of the First Schedule read with Section 22 of the aforesaid Act and has been ordered to have his name removed from the Register of Members for a period of 3 months and imposed fine of Rs 1,00,000.
CA. Viren Lalitbhai Pateliya (Membership No. 163142), has been found guilty of 'Other Misconduct' falling within the meaning of Clause (2) of Part IV of the First Schedule read with Section 22 of the aforesaid Act and has been ordered to have his name removed from the Register for a period of 15(fifteen) days and also imposed a fine of Rs. 75,000/- (Rupees Seventy Five Thousand) only
CA. Khem Chand Gandhi (Membership No. 047508), has been found guilty of 'Other Misconduct' falling within the meaning of Clause (2) of Part IV of the First Schedule read with Section 22 of the aforesaid Act, and has been ordered to have his name removed from the Register of Members for a period of 01(One) month and also imposed a fine of Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh) only.
CA. Dinesh Jajodia (Membership No. 101008), has been found guilty of Professional and/or Other Misconduct falling within the meaning of Clause (11) of Part I and Clause (2) of Part IV of the First Schedule to the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 read with Section 22 of the aforesaid Act and has been removed from the Register of Members for a period of 03(Three) months.
CA. Dhaval Jayeshkumar Paun (Membership No. 148430), has been found guilty of Professional Misconduct under Clauses (6) and (7) of Part I of the First Schedule to the aforesaid Act and has been ordered to have his name removed from the Register of Members for a period of one month.
CA. Milind Ratilal Mehta (Membership No. 041338), has been found guilty of 'Other Misconduct' falling within the meaning of Clause (2) of Part IV of the First Schedule read with Section 22 of the aforesaid Act and has been removed from the Register of Members for a period of 03(Three) months
