ICAR- IARI Recruitment 2022: ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute invites Two posts of Senior Research Fellow available in the Division of Genetics in the ICAR-funded project purely on a contractual basis. The interview will be held on 12th October 2022 at 10.00 AM at the Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi 110012.

Post Name: Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in ICAR-funded Project: “Consortia Research Platform on Hybrid Technology: Pigeonpea

Emoluments (Fixed per month): SRF, Rs.31000 plus 24% HRA pm or Rs.35000 plus 24% HRA (with two years research experience)

Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding /Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have a UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification, equivalent, or Ph.D. in any of the above disciplines (As per ICAR memorandum).

a. Age limit: Maximum 35 years for SRF positions (Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/Women and 3 years for OBCcandidate as per Govt. of India/ ICAR rules).

b. Candidate should report by 9:30 AM on 12th October 2022 for verification of Certificates (must bring original certificates). Candidates reporting after 10.30 AM for verification of Certificates will not be considered for an interview.

c. Biodata as per the format given in Annexure 1 should be submitted along with self-attested copies of 10th, 12th, Under-graduation (original/provisional), post-graduation (original/provisional), Ph.D. and NET/GATE and other certificates required.

Affix a self-attested recent passport-size photograph in the Bio data. The biodata should contain Academic qualifications starting from 10th Standard to the maximum qualification with % marks obtained, distinction/medal if any. This is required for the calculation of the academic scores. If the candidates do not fill the marks and relevant attested certificates, the academic score will not be awarded.

d. Candidate should submit office orders for research experience, in addition to the certificate from the PIs, wherever applicable.

e. Candidate should bring project work report/thesis, testimonials/experience certificates, published research papers, etc. to support their claim on experience.

f. Only the candidates meeting essential qualifications would be interviewed. Etc.

How to Submit Form for ICAR- IARI Recruitment 2022

All the candidates need to submit the Declaration as per the performa given (check notification below). The candidate intending to attend the interview, if any of his/her near or distant relative is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, have to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, and relationship in writing so as to reach to The Head Division of Genetics, ICAR-IARI New Delhi ([email protected]) by 7th. October 2022. If on the date of the interview such declaration is furnished and found that his relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI, such candidate will not be allowed for an interview.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
