ICAR Recruitment 2022: Pay Level 13, Check Posts, Eligibility and How to Apply

ICAR Recruitment 2022: The Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR) has invited Applications from Highly Experienced Officers Eligible for the Post Director (Rajbhasha) On Deputation in the International Science and Technology Center (ISTC). Among the Candidates, who fulfill the Essential Eligibility in reference to Director (Rajbhasha) (Deputation) in the ISTC. There are 03 Vacancies to be filled with the Director Post.

Note: While forwarding the Application, the Sponsoring Organization should verify and certify the Particulars furnished by the Applicant to be Correct. Certification of the Applicant shall be done by the Employer/Cadre Controlling Officer Not Below the Rank of Deputy-Secretary/Director to the Government of India on the Last Page No. 5 of the Bio-Data Proforma.

The Applicants should dispatch their respective duly completed Applications with a No-Objection Certificate and CR Dossier in an Envelope superscripted as “Application for the Post Director in ISTC (Rajbhasha) on Deputation” through Registered Post with Acknowledgment Due (RPAD) / Speed Post receivable in the Office of Deputy Secretary (Administration) Before or On 30th November 2022 (30.11.2022), the Terminal Date/Crucial Date.

Selection Methodology: The Post of Director in ISTC (Deputation) be filled on a Deputation Basis (including Short-Term Contract) from amongst the Officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Union-Territories or the Public Sector Undertakings or Semi-Government or Autonomous or Statutory Organisations or Agricultural Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or Councils. The Selection Committee shall conduct Interviews for the Candidates for issuance of Appointment in the Post of Director (Deputation) to the Officers.

Period of Deputation: (including the Period of Deputation) (including Short-Term Contract) in another Ex-Cadre Post held immediately preceding this Appointment in the same or some other Organisation/Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not Exceed 03 (Three) Years.

The Maximum Age Limit for Appointment by Deputation (including Short Term Contract) shall not exceed 58 years As On the Closing Date of Receipt of Applications.

Age Limit: Maximum 58 Years.

Eligibility Condition: Those among the Officers under Central Government/State Government/Union Territory Administration/Federal State Regions/Public Sector Undertaking or Government Universities/Recognized Research Institutions/Semi-Government/ Autonomous Bodies/Statutory Organization should be

i) holding Analogous Post(s) on a Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre/Department in Pay Level 12 with 05-Years’ Service rendered.

And

10 (Ten) Years’ Experience of using or applying the Vocabulary (Vocabulary work) in the Hindi (Rajbhasha / Official Language and preferably in Translation of Technical or Scientific Literature from English to Hindi or vice versa or Teaching in Hindi (Rajbhasha /Official Language) and English Language or 10 (Ten) Years’ Experience of doing Research in Hindi and English Languages.

Educational Qualifications:

i) Bachelor’s Degree in English with Post-Graduation in Hindi from any Duly Recognized University or Equivalent; Or

ii) Bachelor’s Degree in Hindi with Post-Graduation in English from any Duly Recognized University or Equivalent; Or

iii) Bachelor’s Degree in Hindi and English with Post-Graduation in any Subject from any Duly Recognized University or Equivalent; Or

iv) Bachelor’s Degree in Hindi and English with Post-Graduation in any Subject from any Duly Recognized University or Equivalent; Or

v) Bachelor’s Degree in English with Post-Graduation in Hindi from any Duly Recognized University or Equivalent; Or

vi) Bachelor’s Degree in Hindi with Post-Graduation in English from any Duly Recognized University or Equivalent

iii) Integrity Certificate signed by an Officer not below the rank of Deputy Secretary/Director to the Government of India.

iv) Major/Minor Penalty Statement during the Last Ten (10) Years

v) Confidential Report (CR) Dossier of Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs)/Annual Performance Assessment Reports (APARs) of preceding Five/Six Years, i.e., from 2016-17 to 2020-21 duly countersigned with Seal Attestation on each Page of the by the Officer Not Below the Rank of an Under-Secretary to the Government of India are also required to be sent with the Application. If for some reasons, the Officer’s ACRs/APARs have not been written for a Particular Year or a Part of a Year, a ‘No Report Certificate’ (NRC) is also needed to be sent.
