Mention below is the qualification required for OPTCL Recruitment 2023:
Junior Management Trainees
Candidates should have Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University/Institution. For SC, ST and PwBD candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 50%.
Stenographer Grade-III
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Examination from a recognized University / Institute. She / He must have a stenography certificate from a recognized Institute / Diploma in secretarial practice or Office Management.
Junior Maintenance & Operator Trainee (JMOT)
Candidates should have an HSC pass from a recognized Board or equivalent and ITI Certificate in Electrician Trade from NCVT with minimum 60% marks for General & SEBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

Candidates will be selected through a computer-based test and personal interview.
Selected candidates have to undergo training for a period of 1(one) year at various units of OPTCL including Induction-cum-Orientation training at the Power Training Centre (PTC), Chandaka, Bhubaneswar. The training period will be for 1(one) year, unless and otherwise extended further.
