ICMR Recruitment 2023: Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) is accepting applications from competent individuals for various Technical Assistant positions on a regular basis at the ICMR-National Institute of Cholera and Enteric Diseases in Kolkata. According to the ICMR Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are 28 vacancies to be filled under the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The shortlisted applicants would be paid a monthly salary of Rs.35,400-112,400 (Gr B, Non-Ministerial) based on level-6 of the 7th CPC pay matrix. The positions that are available include Technical Assistant (Life Science), Technical Assistant (Lab Technology), Technical Assistant (Field Investigator), Technical Assistant (Engineering Support), etc.
According to the ICMR Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates applying for the above-mentioned position should not exceed the age of 30 years. On or before the deadline for application submission (August 14, 2023), applicants must submit their application forms. A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 600 is required of all applicants, while SC/ ST/ PWBD and female applicants are not liable to pay any fee. The applicable candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Examinations conducted by the committee.

According to the ICMR Recruitment 2023 official notification, the engagement will be made on the basis of the following terms.
For Technical Assistant (Life Science)
The candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in Life science from a recognized University with any of the following subjects: Zoology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Virology, Immunology, Biotechnology, Physiology, and Botan.
For Technical Assistant (Lab Technology)
The candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Bachelor’s degree in Science with a 2-year diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a Govt. recognized University.
For Technical Assistant (Field Investigator)
Applicants must consist Bachelor’s degree in Science with Diploma in Veterinary Science/Animal Husbandry from a Govt. recognized Institution.
