ICSI Students Amnesty Scheme 2025: Rejoin, Restart, and Rebuild Your CS Journey

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) recently launched the ICSI Students Amnesty Scheme 2025 to help the eligible students rejoin the CS course or claim extra benefits by paying a nominal fee. It is meant for the students whose registrations have expired. The Scheme makes it easier for such students to continue their course without starting from the beginning. This is a golden opportunity for the CS students who could not complete the CS course.

Eligibility for ICSI Students Amnesty Scheme, 2025

There are two main categories of eligible students. Let us understand them one by one.

Category 1

This category is for the former students of the Intermediate/Executive Programme Stage or Final/Professional Programme Stage whose registration has expired and do not qualify for fresh de novo registration.

Key Features:

• The fee for this category of students is Rs 5,000
• It has a 5-year registration validity
• Students will continue with the Syllabus 2022.
• The Three Days Orientation Programme (TDOP) is exempted here.
• Study material can be accessed by paying an additional cost
• Students are required to complete a Pre-Exam Test after paying a pre-exam test fee to be eligible for the exam enrollment.

Category 2

This category is meant for the existing students of the Executive Programme under Syllabus 2022, and those who have registered afresh in the Executive Programme after their earlier registration had expired, and they were not eligible for Registration Denovo. This category also applies to existing Professional Programme students who have re-registered after their previous registration expired.

Key Features:

• The fee here is Rs 1,000
• A 5-year registration validity is given from the date of fresh registration or re-registration.
• The applicable syllabus is the ICSI Syllabus 2022
• Extra benefits are given based on the revised mapping from the previous Syllabus.
• Students can access study material by paying a separate cost for it.
• TDOP applies according to the guidelines at the time of fresh executive registration.
• Students must complete the Pre-Examination Test before enrolling for the exam.

Due Date of ICSI Students Amnesty Scheme 2025

The scheme is available for three months, starting from 1st December 2025 to 28th February 2026. The ICSI has clearly stated that after the expiration of this date, it will not accept any applications.
