IGNOU Launched 13 New Programmes Including 4 MBA; Check Complete List Below

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched 13 new programs including 4 MBA programs at various levels. The change was adopted at the 29th G Ram Reddy Memorial Lecture event held on July 2, 2024, in honour of the university’s founding vice-chancellor, Mr. G Ram Reddy. These courses are part of the admissions into the IGNOU 2024. Candidates interested in getting admission into these courses can fill out the admission forms online at the website, ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), every year celebrates July 2, 2024, in memory of its founding Vice Chancellor, Professor G. Ram Reddy, and delivers its higher education lectures not only in offline mode (Regular) but also in the Open and Distance Learning domain.

As per the IGNOU official notice, “Prof. Kapoor’s address explored the evolution of knowledge systems, contrasting the oral traditions of the Indian Vedic System with the written texts of Western traditions. He emphasized the importance of understanding knowledge systems, particularly the distinction between Vedic and Abrahamic (Semitic) traditions,”

The newly launched MBA courses are:

• MBA in Construction Management
• MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
• MBA in Agribusiness Management
• MBA in Healthcare and Hospital Management

The newly launched courses other than MBA are:

• PG Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology
• PG Diploma in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management
• MA Geeta Studies
• Certificate Programme in Early Childhood Special Education Enabling Inclusion – Visual Impairment
• Certificate Programme in Early Childhood Special Education Enabling Inclusion – Hearing Impairment
• Certificate Programme in Early Childhood Special Education Enabling Inclusion – Intellectual Disability
• M.Sc (Home Science – Community Development and Extension Management)

Eligibility required for the MBA programs are as follows:
The students interested in seeking admission into the newly launched IGNOU’s MBA programs must have achieved 50% marks in their Graduation. Relaxation has been awarded to the candidates belonging to reserved categories (Approved by the Government of India) of 5%.

Semester-wise fee structure for the IGNOU admissions 2024:

• Semester 2: Rs. 15,500
• Semester 3: Rs. 17,500
• Semester 4: Rs. 15,500
