IGNOU Launched a Programme Under the Planning and Development Division

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) under the Planning and Development Division launched the PGDDRRM (Post Graduate Diploma in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management) Course.

The Program Post Graduate Diploma in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (PGDDRRM) will be provided in ODL mode starting in the July 2024 session, with the consent of the Competent Authority. The details are as follows:

• Instructional Languages: Hindi and English
• Minimum: one year; Maximum: three years

• Administrators, engineers, scientists, meteorologists, geologists, and other public sector and government officials
• Personnel working in primary health centres and rural development
• Environmentalists, Social Workers, and Relief Workers
