This move was approved by the Academic Council in its 83rd meeting on 18th February 2025, after a recommendation was made by the university's Academic Council Standing Committee on 17th January 2025 in its 65th meeting, to map ICAI courses with various IGNOU programs such as B.COMGOL, B.COMG, B.COMFOL, B.COMF, M.COM and M.COMOL. The policy is implemented with immediate effect, permitting students to proclaim exemptions for similar ICAI subjects they have passed. However, these credit transfer can be claimed once per course, with its validity extending upto 7 years. The university has kept the procedure affordable by waiving off the fees for credit transfer and course change under the arrangement, however, the students wishing to do so are obliged to pay a one-time, non-refundable processing fee:
  • Rs.500 for credits soaring up till 16.
  • Rs. 1000 for more than 16 credits.
