Tax Trouble for Delhivery: Rs. 1.36 Cr Penalty Order from Income Tax

The Delhi-based logistics provider company, Delhivery received a penalty order of Rs. 1,36,95,768 from the Assessing Officer, Central Circle 18, Delhi, on June 28, 2025. The penalty was imposed on the company for falling short on correctly disclosing deductions or expenses.

The said authority has penalized the company for disallowance of certain expenses amounting to Rs. 3,95,73,995 for the financial year 2015-16.

The company informed about the said matter to National Stock Exchange of India and BSE in compliance with the Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Regulations and Disclosure Requirements)Regulations, 2015. It also informed the authorities that there is no material impact on the financial operations of the company, and it will be filing an appeal against the said order before the appropriate authority.
