Income Tax Department released Form 10B Utility The Income Tax Department has issued Utility of Form 10B on August 24, 2023. This service is used to file audit reports for charitable or religious trusts or institutions registered under Section 12A of the Income Tax Act of 1961.

Form 10B

"Audit Report under clause (b) of the tenth proviso to section 10(23C) and section 12A(1)(b)(ii) of Income tax act,1961, in the case of a fund or trust or institution or any university or other educational institution or any hospital or other medical institution." The Form 10B utility is available through the ITD's e-filing portal. You must have a valid user ID and password to access the utility. After logging in, choose the Form 10B utility from the list of accessible forms. The Form 10B utility will walk you through the audit report submission procedure. You must supply information on the trust or institution, the auditor, and the audit report. After submitting the form, you will be given an acknowledgment number.
