The following changes have been done by the government to makeIncome Tax E-filling portal made more user friendly- No date of birth is required for login. Only PAN and password are sufficient for login atIncome Tax E-filling portal.
- No password is required for opening the documents downloaded from Income Tax E-filling portal.
- Earlier combination of PAN and Date of Birth was required to open ITR-V and ITR Forms and
- Date of Birth was required to open Form 26 AS [Form which shows Income Tax Credit]
