Income Tax Recruitment 2023: The Office of Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax (Administration) For and On Behalf of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Uttar Pradesh (West) Kanpur and Uttarakhand Region has sought Applications in the Prescribed Application Proforma for Recruitment of Meritorious Sportspersons in different Games/Sports through this Income Tax Recruitment 2023 Official Notification. The Posts notified in the Income Tax Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement shall remain Temporary and are likely be regularized later on.
According to the Income Tax Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, there are 03 Posts (Inspector of Income Tax, Tax Assistant and Multi-Tasking Staff ) with 41 Vacancies under varying Pay Scale Levels 07/04/01 to be filled up notified therein. Willing Candidates with Eligibility for Inspector of Income Tax ‘IIT’, Tax Assistant ‘TA’ and Multi-Tasking Staff ‘MTS’ ) should submit within 01 Month from the Date of Publication of the Income Tax Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement issued for the purpose.
As per the Income Tax Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, there are 03 Posts with 41 Vacancies to be filled up:
01: Inspector of Income Tax: 04 Vacancies
02: Tax Assistant: 18 Vacancies
03: Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): 19 Vacancies
Total Vacancies: 41 Nos.
Posting Situations: Kanpur (West Uttar Pradesh) and Uttarakhand
According to the Income Tax Recruitment 2023 the Pay Scales Levels applicable to the Posts shall remain as follows:
01: Inspector of Income Tax: Pay Level-07 of Pay Matrix (Pre-Revised Grade Pay Rs.4600 in Pay Band-2 of Rs.9300-34800)
02: Tax Assistant: Pay Level-04 of Pay Matrix (Pre-Revised Grade Pay Rs.2400 in Pay Band-I of
Rs.5200-20200)
03: Multi-Tasking Staff: Pay Level-1 of Pay Matrix (Pre-Revised Grade Pay of Rs.1800 in Pay Band-I of Rs.5200-20200)
Based on the Income Tax Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Open Merit Candidate Applicants for the Posts should be aged as hereunder:
01: Inspector of Income Tax: Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 30 Years
02: Tax Assistant: Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 27 Years
03: Multi-Tasking Staff: Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 25 Years
Various Relaxations in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Community Candidates remains Applicable as per Rules.
According to the Income Tax Recruitment 2023 Notification, General Merit Candidates for the Posts should have the Educational Qualification as explained hereunder:
01: Inspector of Income Tax: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from the Accredited University/Institute.
02: Tax Assistant:
i) Bachelor’s Degree/Graduate in any discipline from the Accredited University/Institute.
ii) Data-Entry Speed of 8000 Key Depressions Per Hour
03: Multi-Tasking Staff: Passed out Matriculation (10th) Examination/Equivalent from the Duly Recognized Board.
A State or the Country in the National or International Competition in any of the Games/Sports mentioned in Para 05 of the Income Tax Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.
For the purpose of Recruitment the International Meets/Competitions shall be categorized hereunder:
Category-A:
1) Olympic Games
2) World Championships/World Cup
Category-B:
1) Asian Games
2) Commonwealth Games
3) Asian Championships/Cup
4) Commonwealth Championships/Cup
Selection on 03 Posts; viz., 1) Inspector of Income Tax, 2) Tax Assistant and 3) Multi-Tasking Staff shall be carried through by Recruitment under the Sports Quota.
The Candidates selected on the 1) Inspector of Income-Tax, 2) Tax Assistant, 3) Multi-Tasking Staff Post remain subject to Posting Anywhere in Uttar Pradesh (West), Kanpur and Uttarakhand Region.
The Selected Candidates will need to furnish an Undertaking to the effect that they shall not apply for Inter-charge transfer before rendering Regular Service for Minimum 10 (Ten) Years under this Charge.
The Applications received from all Eligible Candidates shall be scrutinized, and Eligible Candidates shall be shortlisted on the basis of Evaluation of their Individual Performances in last 03 Years (i.e., 2019 to 2021), Age and Highest Achievement in their respective Careers in individual respective Sports Events. All Eligible Candidates, for this purpose, shall be called in for appearing before the Committee for Verification of the relevant Original Documents submitted by them with their Applications.
According to the Income Tax Recruitment 2023 Official Notification Willing Candidates with Eligibility should apply in the Prescribed Specimen Application Proforma explained as hereunder:
Note: The Sportspersons already employed under Central Government Or State Government Or Public Sector Undertaking should attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by the Present Employer.
All Intending Candidates should submit the duly completed Applications must be submitted in the Prescribed Application Format (Annexure-II) accompanying Self-attested Educational and other Mandatory Documents addressed to The Additional Commissioner of Income Tax (Administration), 2nd Floor, Aayakar Bhawan, 16/69, Civil Lines, Kanpur-208 001 by Post or In-Person/By Hand. The Envelope containing the Application should also be superscripted as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST(S) OF ________________ ___________________ UNDER MERITORIOUS SPORTSPERSONS’ QUOTA” for the Year 2022.
